THE UNPERFECT LEVEL UP
But life creates static. Expectations, old stories, responsibilities, and the noise of the world can pull us out of tune with who we really are. The Unperfect LEVEL UP™ offers seven invitations to recognize your own signals, trust what you discover, and experiment with choices that bring your life into greater alignment with who you are.
Because the dial has been in your hands all along.
Your life is speaking. Are you listening?
There's a frequency that's unmistakably yours. It's how you feel when you're most fully yourself. Alive. Grounded. Free. Maybe even a little electric.
FOLLOW THE SIGNAL
Seven invitations to become more fully yourself.
-
The Invitation
There's a quiet voice within us that often knows something before we've reasoned our way there. But it can be difficult to hear beneath the noise of expectations, old fears, and the inner critic. This invitation is about learning to recognize our own voice, distinguish it from the stories we've inherited, and trust what it's telling us.
In Practice
It might begin with noticing when we second-guess ourselves, say yes when something feels like a no, or look to others for answers. Rather than immediately changing anything, we can get curious about what our inner voice is trying to tell us. Over time, we can experiment with listening and making choices that feel more true to who we are.
A Question Worth Exploring
What truth inside me keeps asking to be heard?
-
The Invitation
We all carry stories shaped by our families, relationships, experiences, and the ways we learned to belong or stay safe. Some continue to serve us, while others may quietly influence how we see ourselves and the world. This invitation is about stepping back with curiosity and compassion to understand what shaped us, without putting ourselves or anyone else on trial.
In Practice
We might notice an old reaction surfacing in a new relationship, a belief we've never questioned, or a familiar need to prove ourselves. By observing these patterns without judgment, we create space to recognize what belongs to our past and what we want to choose for ourselves today.
A Question Worth Exploring
What younger versions of me are asking to be met with compassion?
-
The Invitation
Life has a way of repeating certain patterns until we begin to recognize them. The same frustrations, relationships, reactions, or longings may appear in different forms, each offering an opportunity to understand ourselves more deeply. Valuing the lessons doesn't mean celebrating what hurt or believing everything happened for a reason. It means recognizing the wisdom we can carry forward without carrying the weight of everything we've experienced.
In Practice
This might look like recognizing a recurring pattern in our relationships, noticing how we respond to disappointment, or understanding why certain situations trigger familiar reactions. Rather than judging ourselves for repeating a pattern, we can get curious about what it's revealing and experiment with a different choice.
A Question Worth Exploring
What patterns keep showing up in my life, and what might they be here to teach me?
-
The Invitation
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to soften, hide, or edit parts of ourselves to fit the expectations of others. But authenticity isn't only about recognizing where we've been holding back. It's also about discovering what makes us feel unmistakably alive. The people, passions, experiences, and expressions that remind us who we are when we're not trying to be anyone else.
This invitation is about noticing both: where we've turned ourselves down and what happens when we give ourselves permission to turn up the volume.
In Practice
We might notice when we're holding back an opinion, minimizing our enthusiasm, or choosing what's expected over what genuinely excites us. We can also pay attention to the moments when we feel energized, joyful, creative, playful, or completely ourselves. Then we can experiment with bringing more of those moments into the lives we're already living.
A Question Worth Exploring
What makes me feel most alive, and how can I make more room for it?
-
The Invitation
There's only so much of life we can plan, predict, or control, although that rarely stops us from trying. Sometimes our attachment to how things should unfold leaves little room for possibilities we haven't imagined. This invitation is about loosening our grip, making space for uncertainty, and remaining open to the wonder, synchronicity, and unexpected opportunities life may bring.
In Practice
We might notice where we're trying to control an outcome, resisting an unexpected change, or dismissing an opportunity because it doesn't fit our original plan. Practicing openness might mean following a curiosity, exploring a new possibility, or allowing something meaningful to unfold without needing to know where it will lead.
A Question Worth Exploring
What might become possible if I leave room for what I can't yet see or explain?
-
The Invitation
As we become more fully ourselves, the way we move through the world begins to reflect what we've learned. We don't have to teach, perform, or convince anyone of our wisdom. Simply living more authentically can create space for others to do the same. This invitation is about recognizing how our individual choices, relationships, and ways of being can ripple outward.
In Practice
This might look like trusting ourselves in a difficult conversation, honoring our boundaries, making room for someone else's perspective, or leading in a way that allows others to be fully themselves. Sometimes the ripple is something we intentionally share. Other times, it's simply what becomes possible when we stop pretending to be someone we're not.
A Question Worth Exploring
What becomes possible for others when I live more fully as myself?
-
The Invitation
There is no universal recipe for healing. What restores one person may exhaust another, and what supported us in one season may not be what we need today. Our minds, bodies, and spirits are constantly communicating with us. This invitation is about listening to those signals, recognizing what genuinely supports us, and honoring our needs without comparison or judgment.
In Practice
We might notice when we're depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply craving something different. Instead of reaching for what we think we should need, we can experiment with what actually supports us. That might mean rest, movement, connection, solitude, boundaries, professional support, or something entirely our own.
